Literature of our lives.
-Have you ever had the thought "Who am I and what have I done..." No? is this a no? I am sorry if it is. Start thinking. College essays challenge this thought.
-The issue: putting your life into a short story WITHOUT being expressive.
-the rules:
-outline accomplishments
-outline what you have learned from those accomplishments
-list outstanding experiences in your life
-outline how they have impacted you ONLY in a way that has made you the person you are today and what you have LEARNED from it.
-and under(lets say) 500 words.
-hard guidelines?
-Why. Why do they have us do this. They restrict us by indirectly telling us their guidelines. Guidelines are the reason to much misfortune in the world. The reason to rebel. The end to no mean. So why do we follow said guidelines on such a life breaking essay? Because THEY said so. They said so. They want to see life for us. They think their guidelines will help them relate to a transfer, undergraduate, graduate admitee .
-Does this process work? Do they get to see all there is to see through such a short compressed, revised, reworked literature of our lives? It is not truly who we are.
-What do you think?
-Should we go against the grain? Stand out? Force them to see through our eyes?
My opinion: yes.
-If they can not see through your eyes, than what are the actually reading? Only words...

The generations.
Each Generation has a niche. The 80's: Madonna, MTV, the discovery of the titanic, Ronald Regan elected president, Rubik's Cube, and TV Time Machine. The 90's: Saved By The Bell, Pokémon, Tamagotchi, Backstreet boys, and spandex shorts. The next generation, the new generation- the now. 2000-2010: Miley Cyrus, Grey's Anatomy, American Idol, skinny jeans, George Bush elected for two terms, and the millennium.
We see each generation for its Pop Culture. Now, as time progresses, I have been seeing generations by their personalities. Not singularly a personality, but priorities and behavior.
What makes each new and developing generation act differently than the generation before? Why are generations so similar? Do we ever make any actual progress, or are we always stuck in the same mistakes?
Yes.Yes. No. Maybe.China.
What we think of each other, is fueled by how we are raised and how we have been influenced. So how you perceive these questions is much different than the person possibly sitting next to you, or the next room over. Pop Culture, morals, priorities, and parenting present a big roll in our lives. They influence our life decisions. These life decisions hopefully being positive. Positive for ourselves and others. Not only do our actions affect ourselves, they affect others. This, being one of the things we all probably heard most growing up.
Welcome to Perceivable Notions.

B.P.O.E.
Spotted: Elijah
Occupation: Child of the greater good
As our Disney trip is coming to a close, we have been taking all final opportunities to experience the magic. The magic was unraveled this past night. Last night we stood atop the Astro Orbiter. The Astro Orbiter is the prime location for firework viewing. We were able to have this great opportunity thanks to one of Rachel's friend Melissa. Melissa is a worker at Disney.
Due to Disney's incompetence, we were happily gifted a bundle of the coveted fast passes. These fast passes were the key to mine and Megan's happiness. Our happiness was fueled by the riding of Space Mountain three consecutive times and making new friends. How did we make friends? The fast passes of course! We had a surplus of fast passes to use in a condensed amount of time. In affect, we gifted strangers in the back of the hour wait line for space mountain, fast passes. This was great. As we picked and pulled strangers from the line, one trip on the ride after another, we made friends. One of our friends were named Elijah. Elijah taught us our new and most favorite saying: B.P.O.E. What does this mean? Best-Person/People- On-Earth.
Use it. Love it. Work. It.
A complete night, at that.

A day askew in Disney Hollywood Studios©
Spotted: Will
Occupation: Disney Vacation Club© sales associate
Our first run in with Will was an excitable experience. Will, detached and pacing from side of counter to edge of kiosk, waiting for the great encounter of Meg, Rachel, and I. Meg, Rachel, and I, had a quick encounter with Will to spark ournovel friendship. This friendship established from mine and Rachel's great interest in the Disney Vacation Club© . When we first arrived to Disney©, we hurried to Tomorrow land. Tomorrow land is one of mine and Rachel's favorite sections of Magic Kingdom. On our run for the coveted fast pass for Space Mountain, out of the corner of our eyes, we see the Disney Vacation Club© kiosk. From that moment we knew, that we had to make it our mission, to get our parents, to purchase a membership.
Later that day, we collected the idea to return to the kiosk before finding our spot in the Fast Pass line, for Space Mountain. As we approached the kiosk, we were greeted by an enjoyable personality, Will. Note: this was in Magic Kingdom.
Today, August 20th, in MGM, once again racing to obtain a coveted fast pass, I spot Will. Once i made the mental connection and note, i share this fact with Meg and Rachel. As we discuss how we will approach Will, we come to the conclusion of making a date for our Disney Vacation Club© orientation and the collection of a picture of us and Will.
We elaborated on our plan as we went through the day and through the circling of our plans, we ended back at our original ideas. The plan was in progress- we were at the approach. We decided on the casual approach, opposed to aggressive. This casual approach consisted of the "attention grabber". This meant, that we would get his attention before gaining on the kiosk...and so it was done. As the casual talk commenced, we slowly assimilated the "relationship status" into it. We were able to collect that he was single, meaning, a perfect match for one of mine and Rachel's sisters. Will also shared his age, which coincided with my sister's ages.
After the bonding completed, we asked for a picture. We made sure to get a picture with every cast member we bonded with. Proceeding the picture capturing, he gave us his Facebook© information to tag him in said picture.
